Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Past experience in the picking of parts, assembly, and packaging of products in a light manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering and Production Associates to optimize designs for manufacturability and provide production support during the first and subsequent builds
  • Design utilizing Solidworks, creating 3D models and their associated production prints, saving and retrieving CAD work within EPDM
  • Complete Engineering Change Requests (ECNs) on existing product
  • Retrieve design and cost information from LDI’s quoting software
  • Utilize LDI’s ERP system, INFOR XA, to retrieve information on existing parts
  • Perform cross-checks of design work completed by other team members

  Quality Technician/Inspector 1st Shift

  • Perform In-coming inspections, In-Process inspections and New Item inspections
  • Assist in completing and submitting PPAPs, ISIRs, Control Plan and FA inspections
  • Complete calibration updates and adjustments

Qualifications:

  • Must be competent in use of micrometers, calipers, and thread ring gages

  CNC Department Team Lead

A team leader has a full understanding of the task at hand and is responsible for delegating the tasks to a qualified individual for the job. This position is responsible for daily CNC duties as well as prioritizing, organizing, delegating, and processing materials within the CNC department. Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Prioritizes customer orders by due date and product availability
  • Perform daily CNC duties (quote parts, program parts)
  • Organizes workload for each CNC Operator
  • Sets up files for each Operator’s table, utilizing correct materials, bits, and cut speeds
  • Determines proper cut times and process requirements
  • Ensures CNC Operators are meeting minimum production quotas and checks for accuracy
  • Coordinates and communicates file needs with CNC layout
  • Ensures materials received from and disbursed to other departments meet Quality Standards
  • Determines and audits inventory status of items
  • Assures the work areas and aisles around are kept clean and free of debris
  • Stages and informs other stations of completion
  • Fills out appropriate paperwork associated with job order, and turns in pertinent information in order to complete job file

  CNC Press Brake

  • Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine with capabilities. Report all machine malfunctions to Management.
  • Ability to calculate, blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed
  • Communicates with management, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues

  LASER Production Handler

  • Remove laser cut parts from the sheets
  • Inspect, clean and place parts on skids per job order
  • Complete all paperwork required for each job run through laser
  • Move parts out of laser area to designated locations

  • Keep work area clean at all times
  • Capable of lifting heavy 50+ lbs. loads throughout the shift
