Light Assembly Associate (Manitowoc, WI location)

We have an immediate opening for a full time 1st shift associate in our Assembly Department.

Qualifications and requirements:               

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Past experience in the picking of parts, assembly, and packaging of products in a light manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ideal candidate will have a familiarity with working from detailed work instructions/manufacturing orders and blueprints (drawings).
  • A good attendance record and a "can do" attitude are a must.
  • Must be capable of occasionally lifting up to 35 lbs.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Includes team leaders who work as part of the team.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in a particular production process.
  • Complete production reports to communicate team production level to management.
  • Shovel, sweep, or otherwise clean work areas.

Design/Project Engineer (Manitowoc, WI location)

This position is active in product development for all standard product lines and works closely with our mobile OEM and industrial distributor customers designing product to meet their specific needs. The individual will be a resource for product, manufacturing and outside sales support. Project management skills are challenged implementing new design ideas and technologies into developing product lines and current manufacturing processes. Light travel to customer locations and the Illinois facility is required. Cost estimating responsibility is also integral to all project and design activities.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) minimum
  • Prefer a minimum 10 years of experience in product design of metal components involving machining and fabrication processes
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude
  • Training and/or experience using or designing hydraulic and lubrication systems
  • Hands on approach to completing work
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, SolidWorks preferred
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated and be a self-starter capable of working independently
  • Composure under pressure and present a constructive attitude when faced with adversity
  • Confidence in their abilities and assertive when expressing their own ideas

Press Brake Operator (Huntley, IL location)

We have an immediate opening for a full time, 2nd shift Press Brake Operator in our modern, fully air-conditioned plant in Huntley, IL.

2nd shift consists of four 10 hour work days per week with a 3 day weekend.  2nd shift pay premium applies.


  • Create or modify CNC programs, load tooling and operate equipment while continually monitoring for compliance with quality requirements.
  • Utilize the data collection system to accurately record production activities including run time, quantity produced, and any rejected parts.
  • Communicate with area supervisor to coordinate activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures and utilize safety equipment as required.
  • Ensure on a daily basis that the work area is clean and orderly.


  • 2 years CNC programming experience

Customer Service Representative (Manitowoc, WI location)

There is an immediate opening for a full time Customer Service Representative in our Manitowoc, WI facility.   In this position you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, handle and resolve customer complaints, and provide pricing and delivery in a timely manner.   Customer communications are done both by telephone and electronically.  This position also requires communication and coordination with internal departments.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of responsible Customer Service/Inside Sales experience preferably in an industrial setting
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in a related discipline preferred or other related post-secondary education in lieu thereof
  • Demonstrated experience in the timely quoting, processing and expediting of customer requests and orders
  • Demonstrated skills in typical business office applications such as Microsoft Office Work and Excel
  • Infor XA (MAPICS) ERP software experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A "self-starter" with a demonstrated "can do" attitude
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity a plus

  • Candidate must hold current certification in at least one of the following standards:
    • AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6 and/or ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code for piping

  • Full time, first shift (Monday - Friday), second shift (Monday - Thursday, 4 - 10 hour days, with a 3 day weekend.  2nd shift pay premium applies.)
  • Modern, fully air conditioned facility
  • Core process is cleaning fabricated tanks made from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum after the welding process is complete
  • Leak testing tanks through various methods to assure a quality product
  • Cleaning accomplished with various hand tools like angle and die grinders and polishers

There is an immediate opening in our Fabrication Facility for an experienced Working Leader - Welding to fill a challenging position in its modern 115,000 sq. ft. air conditioned plant located in Huntley, IL.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of responsible leadership experience within a manufacturing setting, with a Welding/Fabrication background.  A proven ability to motivate and lead associates.
  • A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Philosophies in an AWS and ISO9001 environment.
  • Previous experience working with Dispatch Lists, BOM’s, Routers, ECR’s/ECN’s, and CAD Drawings.
  • An AWS-CWI certification a plus.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
