Network Administrator (Manitowoc, WI location)

We have an immediate opening for a Network Administrator within our IT department. This full-time position will be responsible for maintaining all local and wide area network infrastructures.  This position will also provide technical support for local and remote users including selection and installation of PC hardware and software, office automation and voice communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors, maintains, develops, upgrades, and supports all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, firewalls, software, printers, scanners and other peripherals.
  • Performs network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve network problems.
  • Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.
  • Installs, upgrades, and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and file services.
  • Provides users with technical support; responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources.
  • Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security configuration.
  • Performs network data backup and restoration.
  • Installs and tests necessary software and hardware.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline with a minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Must be highly proficient in a Windows PC environment.
  • Expert working knowledge of LAN/WAN systems and their maintenance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies: Windows Server Systems (2008, 2012), VMWare, Hyper-V, Cisco Switching/Routing/Call Manager/Firepower & Cisco ASA’s
  • Must be able to learn new software and technologies as needed.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally, and must be able to work outside of normal business hours on occasion for emergencies and planned system maintenance
  • Must be self-motivated, able and willing to work independently and have the desire to take on new challenges.

Saw & Pipe Threader Operations (Huntley, IL location)

We have an immediate full time, 1st shift opening for Saw & Pipe Threader Operations in our modern, fully air-conditioned plant in Huntley, IL.   We are seeking an individual with an industrial metal fabrication background supported by experience in the operation of CNC controlled forming and fabrication equipment.

Responsbilities:

  • Create or modify CNC programs, load tooling and operate equipment while continually monitoring for compliance with quality requirements.
  • Utilize the data collection system to accurately record production activities including run time, quantity produced, and any rejected parts.
  • Communicate with area supervisor to coordinate activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures and utilize safety equipment as required.
  • Ensure on a daily basis that the work area is clean and orderly.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years experience in CNC programming and operation of fabrication equipment with an emphasis in press brakes.
  • Proficient in interpreting prints and shop mathematics.
  • Proficient in the utilization of standard inspection tools.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

We have an immediate opening for a full time, 2nd shift Press Brake Operator in our modern, fully air-conditioned plant in Huntley, IL.

2nd shift consists of four 10 hour work days per week with a 3 day weekend.  2nd shift pay premium applies.

Responsibilties:

Customer Service Representative (Manitowoc, WI location)

There is an immediate opening for a full time Customer Service Representative in our Manitowoc, WI facility.   In this position you will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, handle and resolve customer complaints, and provide pricing and delivery in a timely manner.   Customer communications are done both by telephone and electronically.  This position also requires communication and coordination with internal departments.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of responsible Customer Service/Inside Sales experience preferably in an industrial setting
  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in a related discipline preferred or other related post-secondary education in lieu thereof
  • Demonstrated experience in the timely quoting, processing and expediting of customer requests and orders
  • Demonstrated skills in typical business office applications such as Microsoft Office Work and Excel
  • Infor XA (MAPICS) ERP software experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A "self-starter" with a demonstrated "can do" attitude
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity a plus

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must hold current certification in at least one of the following standards:
    • AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6 and/or ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code for piping

Duties and responsibilities of the job:

The Production Planner/Buyer is responsible for planning and managing production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.

Essential functions:

  • Acts on order release action and exception messages from the ERP system
  • Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity
  • Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements
  • Manages inventory levels, schedules and availability of selected item, either manufactured or purchased, to meet production schedules

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of responsible Production Planning/Scheduling experience within a manufacturing setting
  • A working knowledge of MRP & CRP Systems in a previous ERP system preferred
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's Degree preferred) in  Supply Chain or Materials Management, or related discipline
  • Past familiarity with Infor/MAPICS XA Manufacturing Systems a plus.
  • APICS Certification (or working towards certification) preferable
  • Analytical with strong problem solving skills

  • Full time, first shift (Monday - Friday), second shift (Monday - Thursday, 4 - 10 hour days, with a 3 day weekend.  2nd shift pay premium applies.)

  • Core process is cleaning fabricated tanks made from carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum after the welding process is complete
  • Leak testing tanks through various methods to assure a quality product

Material Handler (Huntley, IL location)

This 1st Shift full-time position offers the right candidate an opportunity to become a permanent full-time LDI associate of a rapidly growing company in a newer state-of-the-art 120,000 sq ft  air conditioned manufacturing facility. 

Responsibilities:

  • The efficient and timely receiving, storage, and issuing of raw materials, purchased components, manufactured components & MRO Supplies in a controlled warehouse environment.
  • Picking, staging, and delivery of all necessary components in support of Plant Manufacturing Orders (M/O’s) to various Work Centers/Depts.
  • The timely processing, reclamation, and distribution of all scrap metals/materials used within the plant.  
  • Inventory warehouse maintenance, cycle counting, and reconciliation.

Requirements:   

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of receiving/material handling experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • A H.S. diploma or equivalent.  
  • Some basic computer literacy preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
  •  Previous exposure to forklifts, with certification preferred.
  • The ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

There is an immediate opening in our Fabrication Facility for an experienced Working Leader - Welding to fill a challenging position in its modern 115,000 sq. ft. air conditioned plant located in Huntley, IL.

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of responsible leadership experience within a manufacturing setting, with a Welding/Fabrication background.  A proven ability to motivate and lead associates.
  • A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Philosophies in an AWS and ISO9001 environment.
  • Previous experience working with Dispatch Lists, BOM’s, Routers, ECR’s/ECN’s, and CAD Drawings.
  • An AWS-CWI certification a plus.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
