  Shipping Associate - Openings on 1st and 2nd Shift

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments using hand-truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
  • Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped.
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.

  Materials Manager

LDI Industries, a leading designer and manufacturer of hydraulic components and lubrication equipment is looking for an experienced material and planning professional to lead our purchasing, production planning, inventory management and shipping departments. This key position could be based either out of Manitowoc, Wisconsin or Huntley, Illinois depending on successful applicant’s preference and qualification. This position will be a member of our Management Team reporting directly to the Company President.

The desired candidate will have:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of related experience working in an Industrial metals manufacturing environment.
  • Must have a proven track record in leading the sourcing, negotiations and vendor rationalization activities.
  • Strive for 100% on time deliveries through proper materials management and execution while optimizing working capital.

  Swivel/Deburr Assembly

  Account Territory Manager

  • Quickly respond to operational or technical issues to ensure maximum productivity.

  Material Handler

We have a full time Split shift or 2nd shift position open for a Material Handler.

Responsibilities:

  • The efficient and timely receiving, storage, and issuing of raw materials, purchased components, manufactured components & MRO Supplies in a controlled warehouse environment.
  • Picking, staging, and delivery of all necessary components in support of Plant Manufacturing Orders (M/O’s) to various Work Centers/Depts.
  • The timely processing, reclamation, and distribution of all scrap metals/materials used within the plant.
  • Inventory warehouse maintenance, cycle counting, and reconciliation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years of receiving/material handling experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • A H.S. diploma or equivalent.
  • Some basic computer literacy required.
  • Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Previous exposure to forklifts, with certification preferred.
  • The ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
